Mrs. Clapback wasn’t like the other teachers. In fact, she was more like a superhero than a teacher! With a spring in her step and an ever-present smile on her face, Genevieve could swear that Mrs. Clapback had magical powers that made her an even more amazing teacher.
For example, it’s almost like Mrs. Clapback already knows what Theodore is doing without even turning around! And, she seems to have amazing mind control powers that make every student immediately become the best version of themselves! She also somehow has insane telepathic powers that she uses to read minds and catch our lies, And that’s just skimming the surface.
Maybe it was because of the special brown juice she drinks every morning, or maybe it was just because she really did have superpowers. Well, whatever it was, she definitely wasn’t a normal teacher. Mrs. Clapback was capable of doing so many things in just the blink of an eye — there was just no way that she wasn’t superhuman.
This children’s book tells a funny, highly entertaining, and engaging story as seen from the eyes of Genevieve, Theodore, and Medgar. This serves as an homage to teachers who work extremely hard every day and continue to inspire and encourage children to be their very best. It’s also a great peek into how most kids see their teachers as superheroes
Crystal Cobb Collier was born in Milwaukee but was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a woman of many talents and is proud to call herself an Educator, Creative, Change Agent, and Designer. Her entire life, she has lived by the strong belief that God places an expectation on an ability. She knows that everything happens for a reason and therefore wants to share this message with those around her.
As an educator, Crystal always encourages her students to never back down. When things get tough or feel overwhelming, Crystal continues to keep a smile on her face as she cheers on her students with the constant reminder that they can conquer anything. She wants her students to see her as someone they can depend on — as their biggest fan.
Knowing this, Crystal is now broadening her horizons even further as a new author and business owner. She currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts with her loving husband Jamison, adorable son Langston, and their beloved dog Baldwin.
